LOCATION: GYM
EQUIPMENT: 1 OVERSIZED LIGHT BALL (APROX 16-20″) & PINNIES
OBJECTIVE: TO STRIKE OR KICK THE BALL INTO THE WALL BEHIND THE OPPOSING TEAM.
SET-UP:
- PLACE 1 BALL IN THE CENTER OF THE GYM
- EACH TEAM WILL SPREAD OUT ON THE BASE LINE OF THE BASKETBALL COURT.
- NUMBER EACH PLAYER
RULES
- CALL 3 TO 4 NUMBERS AT ONE TIME
- FIRST PLAYER TO THE BALL MUST TRAP IT BEFORE THEY STRIKE, KICK, PASS OR SHOOT THE BALL.
- ALL PLAYERS MAY USE THEIR FEET OR HANDS WHEN PASSING, SHOOTING OR DRIBBLING, BUT ONLY KEEPERS ARE ALLOWED TO HOLD THE BALL.
- THE BALL MAY BE KICKED, PUNCHED OR SLAPPED WHEN PASSING OR SHOOTING.
- A GOAL IS SCORED WHEN THE BALL HITS THE BALL BEHIND THE KEEPERS ON THE BASELINE.
- THE BALL MAY BE SHOT OVER THE KEEPERS HEADS TO A HEIGHT OF 6 FEET.
- KEEPERS ARE ALLOWED TO PUNT, BECAUSE YOU SHOULD USE A BALL LIGHT ENOUGH THAT IT WON’T REACH THE GOAL OF THE OTHER TEAM.
TIP: IF A PLAYER THAT IS NOT A KEEPER HOLDS THE BALL, THE BALL IS GIVEN TO THE KEEPERS OF THE OTHER TEAM AND PLAY CONTINUES.
